"Woman merges w Car, No. 3" is based upon the live Yemenwed performance "Woman merges w Car, No. 1," which was originally performed at Jack Hanley Gallery in New York City. The piece is a rhythmic puzzle performed in sequential gestures by three women. The performance is set inside an abstract bathroom, where one woman merges with nature, another with technology, as a third mediates between the two as a mime narrator. The video set is composed of abstract interior objects, sculptures, and paintings.
The video was exhibited at '179 Canal, Anyways' at White Columns in New York City.
