"SIGRID CODICIL" questions what happens after the real-world death of Yemenwed's lead character "Sigrid" in the face of a continuing fictional narrative. Who is there to witness the ceremonial passing and what possessions and traces will carry on? Although the character "ICE" proclaims, "it is only the screen image that dies," those words ring hollow with the persistent presence of a surveillance drone; acting as a documentarian and signifier of the seemingly infinite possibility of digital existence.
